"I gained a wonderful educational foundation at Mill through the work of dedicated teachers, however, I am worried by the note of parents who are pulling their children out of the school. I too experienced horrific bullying at Mill, and none of the teaching staff or administration were tuned in enough to notice or stop what was going on. As a 12-14 year old, I didn't have the facility to identify what was taking place, and would have hoped that trained professionals would be able to do so. Perhaps the situation has improved. Otherwise, incredibly competent teachers undermined by a parental culture of consumerism, body-consciousness, and meat-grinder gym classes, circa 1992."

"I agree that many of the teachers are dedicated, friendly and approachable, and we have been happy with the school's special education program. However, we are pulling our child out of Mill and starting him in one of the area's private schools in September because, although Mill's policy is "no bullying", the staff and administration do nothing to enforce this "policy". Our son has been bullied the entire time he spent at Mill and we finally have had enough."
