"good teachers, mostly from Stanford, this school is run more like a small charter than a public school. My daughter is very happy there."

"My son is very very happy at Hillsdale. The teachers know their kids, they know their weakness and strengh and work with them. This school is the best school in the district."

"Hillsdale High is a wonderful high school. Among the strongest academically in San Mateo County."

"I REALLY love this school!!! Coming from a small private Catholic school, I was worried about the transition. But from the very first day, I made tons of new friends and loved the teachers. The teachers are so wonderful and supportive of their students and work hard to help them learn and succeed. As the top student from my middle school, I was looking for new challenges-which I definitely wanted and are helping me to reach my full potential. HHS has great facilities-many which are being redone. I think the SLC's are very useful in that each student gets more individual attention from teachers. The Houses help students bond with a special group of students and their teachers. (GO MARRAKECH!!) :) Overall I think this school is wonderful and I would recommend it to everyone!"

"I graduated last year from Hillsdale. This is a fantastic school. I felt that all of the teachers in my SLCs really knew me and cared about me. No one can "fall through the cracks" here, which is why the drop-out rate is so much lower than other schools. I know a lot of people who transferred here after starting at other district high schools, even Aragon, which people think is so great. But we're better, even though we don't have the $ like they do. Even more people tried to transfer here and couldn't, because it was full. My sister goes here too, and loves it. I did well on the AP exams and got into a great university; Hillsdale was one of the reasons why."
