    "We've been a Nueva family for 12 years, and we've seen first-hand that it's a spectacular school - truly unparalleled. The faculty are exceptional - passionate about teaching, compassionate and nurturing with the kids, and great teachers. We only once had a bad teacher, and she was new and only lasted one year (Nueva counseled her out the minute they realized she was a bad hire). The kids are bright, engaged, and motivated - but there's no snobbery or intellectual arrogance. The kids know that everyone is smart, and they understand that each of them is not the center of the universe, which is a great way to be humble and group-focused. The parent community is diverse, interested, and engaged. And the administration is responsive and thoughtful. Negatives? Well, tuition is high. And sometimes the administration is *too* responsive to a few loud (squeaky-wheel) parents. But I am very grateful - every day - that our kids get to go to a school where learning is so much fun, where there's a dual focus on the intellect and the social-emotional side, and where they can spread their academic wings so fully, with teachers and fellow motivated students as partners."

    "Families at a school who are happy don't normally look at a website like this, but a parent mentioned at a meeting that they had gone on greatschools.org and were surprised at the comments. No doubt a bunch of us left that meeting a jumped on the site so that typical families experiences were represented. My two sons, who attended from PK & K through 8th grade, had an incredible educational experience. Anyone interested in the truth about a school should tour it and evaluate for themselves. The faculty are extraordinary and the families are terrific."

    "I think the answer to the multiple posts on one day is pretty obvious for those applying to schools admission decisions come out next week! The Nueva parents who posted were probably asked by applicant families about the reviews and then posted to balance out the negative reviews. We all know how these sites work: most people who are happy with their school do not feel the need to visit the sites and post how happy they are. That is what disgruntled people do. I only visit these types of sites when it s time to look for a new school for one of my kids. Anyway, let s be honest, Nueva is an amazing school. The track record, awards, recognition, etc. show it. Take a tour and you too will want your kids to attend. Notice how engaged the kids are. Anyway, good luck next week to all of our kids who are awaiting big envelopes. May they find the right fit."

    "Seriously? Not two but SEVEN reviews posted all on the same day??? I have been a user/reader of greatschools for many years and read school reviews on here constantly. Not once have I ever seen the same school receive more than one review on one day. No one reviewed Nueva on here since Dec. 2011 and then suddenly on March 6 there are SEVEN parents who all claim that Nueva is fantastic?? Are we supposed think that it's a coincidence? Is Nueva offering families discounted tuition if they post a perfect 5 star review? Did the principal offer a prize if the number reaches 10 perfect 5 star reviews? What is going on? Are parents insulted that other parents would dare speak the truth about Nueva's programs and staff that they are trying to cover up the bad reviews by placing some fake ones all at once? Whom are you trying to fool? Seven PERFECT reviews on one day? That's a greatschools.org record!!"

    "Our kids are so appreciative of Nueva, since they transferred in from another school. Nueva truly implements the results of the latest brain research, which shows that kids learn best when different subjects are integrated with each other rather than in the traditional 'silos.' Nueva does this through a theme for the entire year, and all the classes build on that theme (e.g., Greece), ranging from art to tech. The teachers also have a wonderful ability to 'get' all different types of students and support them."
