"Park school is very diverse which also means we have kids from different economic levels and kids with different languages at home. This might explain the test scores. My 2 kids as well as their friends have always done well on their tests. They are comfortable mixing with all the kids and have learned about other cultures through the school and things like International Day there. They love their teachers and want to go to Park school so that is why we are there, even though we could send them to a private school. We feel the kids here do not run around feeling entitled like at some other schools. The principal will email you back that day or set up a time to meet with you if you are interested in attending this school. We also now have great after school enrichment classes at our school."

"I have three kids, all of whom either currently attend Park or have attended Park and have nothing but postive things to say! Mr. Abaya and the staff are nothing short of amazing! Yes, it is diverse but that is a strength and not a weakness! From Walk A Jog to the Science Fair to Full Bloom to the 5th Grade Rockerty program, this is a great place and I'm proud to be a part of it!"

"I have 2 children who attend San Mateo Park School and I have had nothing but positive experiences with this school. Both my children are above average readers and all of their teachers have challenged their reading skills and they both love going to school. They continue to be challenged and their love of learning grows every year. I couldn't ask for better teachers or anything more for my children's education."

"I feel very fortunate that Park School is our neighborhood school. Over the last few years the school has added programs to help the early grades meet and exceed reading standards, and developed teachers in each grade in the STEM approach. In 2011-2012 over 400 individuals volunteers, including a number of people who have no children in school, but want to help through one of our reading programs "Reading Partners". The Foundation and PTA work together to support the school and have funded a number of areas including the computer lab, the science lab and our two great PE teachers. We also introduced diverse after school enrichment program last year that focuses on academics, arts, and athletics."

"The principal is great. If there is a problem, it is addressed. The teachers Do great with what they have to work with. All Schools have way too many kids for one teacher to give the needed attention to. But, with that being said, the teachers have always Worked with me and my child. If there is a special need that needs to be taken care of, they listen and do there best to deal with the situation. All in all, San Mateo park has been great. My son can't wait to start back at school tomorrow. Looking forward to another great year! And, for a school To be great, parent participation is key! Go Park School!"
