"Burlington Day School provides an academically challenging opportunity in an safe and nurturing environment. The teachers teach beyond "testing standards". They make the students want to learn! Enriching field trips and outside experiments make the students think outside the box. Teen Read Week, a weeklong "books" experience, allow kids to get excited about reading and books. Kids at BDS talk "books" which is way beyond cool! If you are looking for a place for your child to learn and grow, check out Burlington Day School."

"My child attended BDS K4-8th and graduated well prepared to meet the demands of a rigourous private high school curriculum. Best investment we made in our child's education foundation!"

"Our 7 year-old son aged out of a wonderful Montessori School which taught students without testing. We were very worried how he would adjust, given he had never been graded, had an assigned desk or even had homework. I was ready for him to repeat 2nd grade and we had already been turned down from other private schools because they "didn't have the resources to catch him up". Well, he failed his first test and came home delighted that he had gotten half of the answers right. His teacher re-assured me that he was doing great and would remain 3rd grade. His recent first ever report card ever reflected all A's and B's. Considering where he came from and how much he struggled with simple reading and writing, THAT is a miracle. My son went from hating to read, to reading EVERY time he gets in the car. He loves it and has an insatiable appetite to get his homework done every day, then earn extra credit by doing more. I say that's because this school has made sure that our son received the time, attention and knowledge of their WONDERFUL staff, plus benefitted from learning in a great environment. His teacher is excellent. We are thrilled!"

"At BDS my child's teacher cares about my his academic and social development. This is my child's first year at BDS and his teacher has provided proactive communication on his strenghts and weaknesses and she has a plan to develop both. The students treat each other with dignity and respect."
