"I graduated from this school a few years ago, and I had a horrible experience. The student body thrives on cliques, and the dropout rate is fairly high. Due to this small student body, if a student doesn't fit in with a clique, they are pushed aside. Teachers often do nothing to keep this from happening, and don't make an effort to get involved with parents or students. They have a tendency to be snotty and unfair. In my particular case, my foreign language and math skills are below par, and I have needed to play catch-up in my post-secondary education. I'm ashamed that I've come from this terrible system. Parents: If you have the option to send your child to a private school, or even just a different school system, please do so. For their sake."

"Cairo Durham was a great school to attend. For the most part, a lot of the students were great and respectful. Small school, however it is beggining to grow in size. The sports program are diverse and usually a great expierience. Most of the teachers are very knowladgeable and will spend time with your child to understand a subject. Located in a great area. Teachers and staff are great."

"I was pleasantly surprised by the effort and quality of education that my children received in the Middle School. While the district doesn't spend much money on education, the administrators still manage to deliver a quality educational experience. There is a full contingent of Honors classes available, with AP courses starting in the High School. As for sports, basketball, soccer and softball/baseball all have active teams. Last year a football team was started at the High School level."

"It is a great school with many quality hard-working and caring teachers. The music program was excellent, and the sports programs while not very high performing are accessible. There are some great academic extracurricular activities, however consistency of involvement both by advisors and students is a problem that often leads to early ends or discontinuances of these activities."
