"The teachers actually care for the students, unlike schools in large towns and cities. Calera's Vo-Ag is known across the state as one of the best, there are no drug and behavior problems, Parents, Teachers, and students all get along and work together to achieve the skills that are vital to ones future following high school, In college and on their own in life. I would like to thank personally all those who stood behind me and would not let me quit when the going got tough, thank you. Levi Miller, class of 2005"

"I graduated from Calera last year and the years I spent there were the best years of my life. I feel so blessed to have been able to meet so many wonderful people. the kids all get along for the most part, I'm not going to say that there arent fights and conflicts but it is nothing like a bigger school. The teachers are wonderfull and can help you with any problem you have educational or personal. But more than anything Calera High is a fun and friendly place."

"i think calera is a horrible school. Not horrible in the curriculm or education wise, but horrible in the way the students treat one another. Calera is not a place i that i would ever recommend to a child that does not have a strong spirit or that is not confident! -an ex-student"

"My daughter came to Calera from Dallas where she was always in trouble, in alternative schooling and failing. Since starting in Calera she is doing the best she's ever done, even made the honor roll for the first time. Thank you for allowing me the pleasure of her fulfilling her true abilities as a student."
