"I am a parent who had the life time opportunity to taste your level of one to one personalized education. If I had the opportunity to keep my kids in your school they would be great acheivers. Thankyou for dedication outside the box.as I know most graduates are advanced.Although sometimes catorgorized as too harsh on certain levels in the spectrum of known realitites of emotions roaring in a small community . Parents wanting at times a broader view. I was happy just the way it was."

"Black Butte School in Camp Sherman offers a rich and unique experience to its lucky students. It's small size is an advantage--no student is overlooked! The teacher is dedicated, parental involvement nearly 100 percent. Community volunteers ad to the curriculum. Spanish, guitar, public speaking, money management, the natural environment are all subjects volunteers bring to the students. Field trips connect the students to outside places, including Washington D.C. every third year. Each Friday January thru early March is spent skiing at Mt. Hoodoo. My nine year old loves the school, and thinks anything larger than 17 students is too big!"
