"This school is filled with bad teachers, drugs, bullies, bad test scores. The lunches are very unhealthy and fattening. Bathrooms and unsanitary and filthy. Some teachers could care less about your low grades (if you have any) they won't help you improve or help you raise them. Bullies everywhere insulting and pushing around the lower class or unpopular students. I went to this school and experienced it all. The only good thing is some of the teachers actually care but most really don't care about your education. No art and music class only p.e. tech and c.t.e. I do not recommend this awful school. sorry."

"This school has a very dedicated staff, focused on kids and pushing them to achieve to their highest potential. Its focus on character development (1st period ACT class) and organization, giving students agendas/planners as a tool for them and parents is one component. It also offers an open gradebook PASS system online to keep parents informed of grades 24/7. In addition. two academic programs it implements are free after-school tutoring Monday through Thursday and a re-teach/enrich program for additional math each week, where students get extra practice based on individual needs. The campus and facilities (immaculate gym, fields and theater) are also excellent. Elective courses are limited to technology and PE classes but there are many extra curricular activities and sports offered. Another innovative incentive/reward they have is a fieldtrip every 4 weeks for all students who have shown responsible behavior documented in their agenda. This school also has done an exceptional job at having zero tolerance for illegal substances."

"Enrolled my child to make some friends since we moved here from another state. If I had it to do all over again I would have put my child in the AHA or the Christian school in Camp Verde. Better yet, drive your kiddo to Cottonwood or Prescott for better schools. Dysfunction, bullies, and drugs are major problems at CVMS. I was amazed what my child was really learning. Rarely any homework because the classes are so easy. Parent's group is scheduled during mid morning business hours so only a handful of people participate. If you want your kid to play on a team, good luck because the local kids get picked first even if your child has better skills because they are legacy. No art or music instruction at all. Just sports for the same few local kids that know the coach."

"I have visited the middle schoo and found that the teachers, support personnel and administrative staff are fantastic. They are helpful, caring and interested in the students as individuals."

"I have been going to this school for 3 years now and the principal and counselor are awesome. Most of the teachers are good but my favorites are Mrs. Johnson and Mr. Wish, the 2 language arts teachers. They are two of the most inspiring teachers I know. This school is actually a pretty good school."
