"C-M is NOT a homogenous district. Performance is all over the map particularly at the elementary school level (7 schools). Borland Manor is academically the best performing school in the CM district without compare. The PSSA scores are significantly higher than the other 6 schools. Also, if you request nat'l standardized testing scores from the admin. office, BM scores on top, as well. It's a small school drawing from a very affluent area of Cnbg, and students arrive at BM ahead of their district peers. Strong parental support in parent/faculty org as well as in-school volunteering. If you are a stickler for academic excellence, this is the elementary school for you in CM. It even surpasses the touted nearby Peters School District which is superior at the high school level, but still can't beat Borland Manor at the elementary level."
