"This school district exceeds the basic expectations, is educationally sound, and the performance levels are high expecially in writing. Just take a look at the PSSA scores. I disagree with most of the reviews listed in this web site. I transferred my 7th grade son to this school district October, 2007. The staff and students welcomed him with open arms and was extremely helpful with the transition. Kudos to the 7th grade team who has provided a challenging and positive experience focusing on good self-esteem. The entire school district is growing considerably producing a higher tax base. This provides for more programs and opportunities for the students. There is no air conditioning but talks of installing a system soon. The district has a good fund balance to work with so this is not out of the question. Not a lot of bullying. My son now loves this school!"

"This is our second year here. We picked this district because we knew there was alot of parent involvement here and the school is very big on sports. too bad they are not as focused on academics as they are sports. We are currently looking into private schooling."

"My children transferred to this school and I will tell you this that it has alot of cleaning out to do. The parents of this district are very involved with their kids, which is so awesome, but teaching here lets a lot to be desired. Not run very well."

"This school sure does not show me anything to write good about it. They put in a new footbasll field whish had to have artifical turf..yet walking in the school this year it has been so hot the kids are walking around with sweat pouring down their face. Now tell me how can these kids learn when it is that hot and the teachers refuse to let them carry water bottles in the classroom. Give me a break. But we do have a nice looking field!!"
