    "Like any other school the academic programs are more challenging and taught more efficiently at the Advanced Placement Level. In the AP classes, the teachers are more involved and the students learn more. Canton excels with its variety of extracurricular activities. For a school of around 500 students, many sports, dance, and band electives are offered. Canton has been ranked the #1 marching band in Texas 3-A for the last 4 years. The only sports Canton does not offer are: Soccer, Swimming, and Wrestling. The coaches emphasize hard work and dedication to school first, and the team second. The Parent involvement is incredible at Canton High School. The parents are so involved with the school that they might as well enroll and attend themselves. It is not uncommon to see parents come to lunch on a daily basis and support whatever activity the school is competing in."

    "The Canton Schools provide a great environment for children who would like to be envolved in band. The band program is an amazing opprotunity to expand thier horizons and better themselves physically and mentally."
