"This school although having a student body that is more low income has some of the best scores. The teachers here really care;"

"Puckett has changed for the better. The library is incredible with a selection of books that covers all grades. Each book is coded to help earn reading counts points. Teachers and staff encourage reading in after school reading camp. The test scores reflect their commitment to improve reading skills. The hands on science lab is starting to grow and students enjoy the turtles, snake and other critters. The technology lab and classrooms have computers that students can access and learn without having to cart equipment or lose valuable class time. The staff is committed to the students and provide a welcome enviroment. They continue to make improvements when education is facing more challenges than ever before. I am proud of Mrs. Beard and the staff. They are seasoned and some new to education working together to provide opportunities. Creative ideas are always welcome and retired staff remain committed. That says a lot about Puckett!"
