"Stevenson was the best school I have ever attended. The facility, location and faculty are top notch. If I return to the area I would definitely send my kids there and hope to be able to give back to Stevenson someday."

"The teachers at Stevenson are first class. They go above and beyond to help their students and invest a lot a time and effort in those who are willing to put in reciprocal time/effort. Every time I go home I run into my teachers and they all remember and still have an interest in how I am doing and offer to help in any way they can. A lot of them remember more about my classmates and how they have been doing than I do. I have attended a few different elementary schools, colleges and master's programs and rank Stevenson as the best school I have ever attended. I hope one day to become more involved and give back to the program."

"Stevenson has an incredible faculty, especially the on campus faculty. The beautiful location and free housing for resident faculty makes it very easy for Stevenson to attract some of the best teachers, coaches, and mentors out there. Style is entirely determined by subject and grade level. Classes are generally very small, the largest class I was ever enrolled in was a 17 person Spanish class; however, Science and History classes have bi-weekly lecture component to supplement the normally small class size. This is fantastic because the students get the benefit of a small class while still getting valuable college prep experience in a lecture hall style environment. This class format is especially beneficial in US History classes because it allows the students to be exposed to incredibly diverse faculty's different perspectives and backgrounds. English classes are entirely discussion oriented with a very strong focus on academic writing. Math classes are fun, short, and very interactive. Class is divided between a 15-20 minute lecture and 20-25 minutes of work time for students to review the previous night's assignment, get individual help on a concept, or get started on the night's work. The department head John Senuta is quite possibly the greatest teacher I will ever have and has done an amazing job with the entire department. I would trade the best Stanford Professor for the worst Stevenson teacher in a heartbeat."

"The mission of Stevenson is the help setup students to live a joyful life. That mission is evident in every facet of the school. I am so grateful for all I learned in the classroom and for the incredible college counseling and advising program but I am most proud of how I grew as a man. The leadership experiences and faculty mentors are second to none. There is a reason why the resident faculty are called "dorm parents.""
