"My son is in kindergarten this year and so far we love his teacher and the school. The teacher has done a great job ensuring that students at varying levels continue to be challenged my son is reading, writing and learning to think in new ways. And we love the neighborhood school s small town feel. Recently, students marched around the block to sport their Halloween costumes to parents lined up down the sidewalk, some parents standing outside their homes. The students will all be having a compliment party soon, because they earned enough compliments through good behavior. The class has their own wikispace and each kindergartener has a fourth grade tech buddy for computer training. The PTA is very active. I do wish the students were learning Spanish, but there may be something in the works for that."

"Crafton Elementary is a great neighborhood school focusing on the students. Effective teachers and a nurturing environment are just some of Crafton's many strengths. This small neighborhood school is a hidden secret in the heart of a friendly community."

"I am thrilled to see Crafton Elementary get the recognition it deserves. My children got a great start there. It truly is a community. Every teacher in the school will know and encourage your child by name. Parents are involved and supportive. The principal, Mrs. Maslyk, is strict while being very hands-on and approachable. There is a wonderful emphasis on reading at all levels. The math curriculum was recently updated to closely follow PA state standards."
