"The facility is top notch. One the best aspects of this school, is the student culture. It is very accepting and non-judgmental without the the intense bullying that may occur at other schools. Teacher quality is hit or miss as at any school, but it seems to be an overall nurturing environment. Considering the size of the community and budget cuts this school has maintained a high level of service."

"I think this is a great school. Though the physical plant is currently under construction, the school continues to function and seems to flow. We switched to this school this year from a nearby charter school and have been very happy with our child's teacher, who is hardworking and dedicated to her students."

"Great school district, and the funding is not impacted by the small size. The district is considered one of the wealthier districts in the state, and the children in this district have all sorts of art and music classes besides the basic '3 R's'."

"The teachers are very knowledgable, and a new building is going to house the school within two years so that is exciting. It is an expensive area to live in as well as being remote, but the school is very competant and the small size keeps the focus on my child."

"Mendocino is a beautiful town. But with housing costs at a high level, not as many young families are moving to the area. This has an impact on the enrollment of the school and therefore funding. Although, my children have had a great experience thus far."
