"I highly recommend Wilmington Christian School. Not only are the teachers knowledgeable, caring, and supportive EVERYONE there exhibits these fine qualities - from the office staff, nurse, teacher's aides, admissions and business office staff, to the principal and head master. When I tell others about WCS the first word that comes to mind is "family." The Elementary Library and computer lab are great. The small class sizes really allow children to grow and get the individual attention they need. When I first toured the school I was impressed by the active student participation in the 5th grade classroom. When the teacher asked a question every hand was raised to answer. They enjoyed learning and were eager to participate. I know that my son is getting a great education in a caring and Christian setting."

"As a former student of WCS I am happy to say that it helped set a strong foundation for my schooling and relationship with the Lord. It's a very small school; therefore, there was a limited social opportunity and there were alot of cliques. While this was a Christian school, I found the teachers (especially the Bible teachers) to be very closed minded and unaccepting of other religions and sexualities. I found the academics to not be quite so driving and demanding. The academics are perfect if your student is looking for an adverage-level, relaxed school environment. One good thing I have to say though is that the music programs are excellent. The choir and band programs are phenominal and you can't find anything better! WCS prepared me well for my journey with Christ and it was a good foundation for my further education."

"Over all the school is good. There are teachers who can be very judgemental if you have different veiws then them. Personally I support gays and have had problems with teachers when I was at the school because of that. Classes are very educational and the teachers give you plenty of time to keep asking questions and encourage you to do your best. Discipline can be a problem. The problem is only taken care of for a moment and often comes back."

"The school has only four AP courses. Academics are not the focus of the school. As for the Christian aspect, it is a fundamentalist Christian school, which preaches "one" way of thinking and believing. Mutliple perspectives are not encouraged."

"This school is for you if A Christian School is your priority. The main focus (as it should be for a Christian School) is God. Academics come 2nd or 3rd in their priority. The teachers are very low paid and because the requirements are limited 1. Christian teacher 2. able to afford to get a minimal salary they dow not have many qualified teachers that focus on academics. This school does not offer a better education than the Delaware PublicSchools. It does offer a Christian environment and is a small school. Its' just too expensive for the education it offers"
