"My son started kindergarten and I am well pleased with the school and the progress my child made this year. The teacher, teacher's assistant, principal and aides are all involved. I absolutely love this school and would highly recommend it."

"This year, our family reached the milestone of having our oldest son start school! It was a scary and exciting time for our family. We felt the choice of school was a very important decision and have been thrilled with MDS! The teachers have been excellent at communication. The community is warm, welcoming, and diverse. My son is flourishing academically and socially. We love the school, the staff, and the community."

"We love this school! It is a little gem. And it is rare to find a chartered (free) Montessori. This is a small school which is wonderful because there is a real community atmosphere. There are some great teachers and staff, and it is a great learning environment. As is to be expected of a small school, there are some things lacking; mostly the facility is maxed out with the current population. On the brink of growth, this school could be even more wonderful with a careful forward-thinking vision."

"My family has been attending MDS for almost 3 years. The teachers are excellent and give both my daughters the personal attention they need. The teachers work with the strengths of their students and work with me in my children's weaknesses. There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer. My older daughter is in 2nd grade and reads on the 4th grade level. She is challenged academically and is given freedom to persue her own learning path. The teachers do a great job in teaching interpersonal skills and problem-solving techniques to the kids. We love it at MDS!"

"My daughter is a kindergartener at this school, and we are so happy with it. We love the sense of community and how involved parents are. The director is amazing, and the teachers are warm and knowledgable. We feel so, so lucky to have found a Montessori program for our very bright daughter -- and the fact that it's free in kindergarten is an added bouns!"
