"I have taught in the public schools prior to coming to PSA and nothing compares to my experience here! The parents are involved and the teachers are qualified and passionate. PSA is an open book, so if a parent wants to see a teacher s credentials, they are available in the office. The administration is easily accessible if any problems arise. All you have to do is calmly email or call the administration to discuss the situation. I would advise that any students looking for an athletics emphasis look elsewhere, since PSA has limited resources at this time in that department (there is a gym class and sports clubs, but no official sports teams). If your student is not tolerant of others beliefs or is not mature enough to handle the high expectations the PSA staff and administration places on its students, this is not your school. This is no perfect school, and true, PSA has been experience growing pains. However, you will find this to be true with any other school or business. If you are looking for small classes with a curriculum that will push your kid to the next level, check out Paragon Science Academy."

"Paragon Science Acamemy is just a name now academics are very poor, teachers are not qualfied and have not any expirence for teaching ,because the high population they work with student they already know and ignore the rest of the class the big issue that we think that diversity is good but we show diffrent kinds of bulling, bad words by many languages also teachers and tow principals are ignoring parents concerns some of parents but not all and this is a big????? also No nurse, social worker school is missing alot of basics things."

"This is the third year my son has been a student of Paragon Jr/Sr High. He is gifted and ADHD. I feel removing my son from the Kyrene School District and placing him at Paragon was one of the most important decisions I made for his continued success. Classes are very small and staff make every effort to work with you and your child. The atmosphere is very positve with acceptance for diversity. Many charter schools seem to have a high population of students who have difficulty 'making it' in public school. This is not true for the student population at Paragon. Most students value the education they are receiving and show this through their hard work and positive attitudes. I do agree that at times there can be some language barriers but feel that it can also be seen as life experince in which students can learn and grow from. I also do understand that the JR/SR high just opened last year and there will be a learning curve for all staff and administration. I plan to continue to have my son enrolled in Paragon through HS unless they fail to offer Dual Enrollment for college credit. I feel this would be an appropriate asset for families that value higher education."

My child goes to 6th grade and she doesnt want to leave the school. she loves waking up in the morning and saying: Paragon here i come for another day of school! i think she is one of the only kids that i have heard say that they want to go to school"
