"Hi! I'm an ongoing 7th grader at this school this year and last year was a great year for me. Great staff and very helpful teachers. The principal is friendly and funny and they all push u to do your best. Because of them, my experience at this school is unforgettable. If it wasnt for the teachers, I would't be able to get into honor classes this year. For anyone who is planning to go to this school, I strongly recommend it."

"I agree with the last two parents. My child had a different 6th grade math/science teacher and she was horrible too! My child learned nothing in her class. It was the same thing powerpoint notes and a new subject everyday. Then they would be given tests two to three weeks later and expect to know every step that was taught through the powerpoint notes that one day. We also spoke with the teacher and were given excuses. We had to reteach her everything and she is a very smart kid. She gets it when we explain it. Anything she learned last year in math was from home. I looked at the grades posted on the wall at open house and when you are teaching an honors class and the majority of the students are getting c's, d's and fails in a basic math class something is wrong with your teaching! The english teacher was pretty bad too! I sent my child there to get a better education, it looks like I made a mistake. If the same thing happens in 7th grade, I'm taking her out of there."

"I AGREE WITH THE PARENT IN THE PREVIOUS POST. STEPHANIE LAMBERTE HAS NO BUSINESS TEACHING. SHE IS AWFUL. FAVORS FEMALE STUDENTS. DONT KNOW WHY PRINCIPAL KEEPS HER."

"Nobel is a good school overall. There is one teacher who, in my opinion, should not be in the field of education. The students call her "lame-berte". She was my son's 6th grade math/science teacher. She teaches using Powerpoint slides and rarely uses the textbook. My son was having a difficult time adjusting to her teaching style. I spoke with her to no avail. When I spoke with one of the deans about her he said, "Have you asked her for extra worksheets?",as if this were the answer. She doesn't use examples on the board, doesn't let the students go up to the board to demonstrate their skills, so she has no idea of their level of math competence. She has a "one size fits all" approach to teaching math. My husband and I are both educators and my husband had to reteach everything she had supposedly taught our son. This same woman was also my son's homeroom teacher for three years. During culmination rehearsal she called him by another student's name then apologized and said it wouldn't happen during the actual culmination. Guess what? She did it again during the actual ceremony. This tells me that she never bothered to learn my son's name in the 3 yrs he was in her room. What a shame!"
