"CCS challenges it's students academically and gives them great options whether the student is the on the college prep or advanced track."

"In some cases, teachers seem engaged, enthusiastic and passionate about their subject and job. However in other cases, it is apparent that the teachers are dissatisfied, disengaged, and tolerant at best of/in their careers, and seem to have settled on their vocation out of necessity, not out of passion for teaching or the subject. The knowledge of some of these educators, specifically in the mathematics department is lacking and often results in students helping or correcting the teachers. This being said, experiences with other teachers, especially the ones that have been with the school since it's foundation have been outstanding and have been imperative in keeping this institution at the level it should be at."

"In my personal 12 years spent at this school, and the 14 since my older sibling started at this school, I have seen many ups and downs in the development and up keep of the original mission. At the beginning of this journey, my parents picked this school because it truly was a fantastic place for students to grow up. As leadership has changed in the administration, however, the school seems to have drifted away from some of the things it used to value. The administration seems more distant from the families, and disengaged in the community that it used to be at the helm of. Vaguely explained rules and regulations have began to pile up, and punishment for infractions upon these rules is inconsistent at best, biased based on favoritism and personal/familial relationship and importance to the school/administration at worst. The community that used to exist among the students has began to dwindle as dissatisfaction with the school itself has increased. Their is a leaning towards arts and historically successful sports in terms of how rewards and recognition is given, even if other branches of activities begin to become equally or even more successful. In terms of a Christ-centered education, this school passes with flying colors, as they artfully and effectively weave in the Christian life to every field of study and extracurricular activities. The schools intentions overall seem pure and good, but it is the execution is often lacking."

"What makes this school unique is the relationships that are built here. I enjoy being with like-minded students that challenge me academically and spiritually."

"My experience at this school has been invaluable. The best part about it is how much the teachers care about the students on a personal, individual level. They really go beyond what is required of them to make sure that each student is doing well and is getting the best education possible while also having a Christ-centered curriculum. My only qualm about attending CCS are the mandatory Bible classes and chapel attendance. Making these things required brings about an element of apathy into the student body that is very difficult to overcome. While I've appreciated these things, it makes it difficult to enjoy or feel connected to the religion of Christianity when it is hammered into the curriculum day after day. It is easy to become apathetic about Christianity if it is talked at you all day long, five days a week. Other than that, I have loved attending this school. My favorite part about it is the theater department, which is incomparable to other schools in our area. I have helped in some manner for all four years of high school and it has been the best experience I have had in high school."
