"West Morris has excellent teachers, a welcoming and helpful administration, and a top-notch atmosphere. If your son/daughter graduates from WMC and you do your part as a parent they will be well-prepared for their future. This is one of the top high schools in New Jersey and was recently rated by U.S. News and World Report to be among the top 2% of high schools in the nation. This school fosters a culture of excellence."

"My daughter became ill in sophomore year and without the complete support of the school - especially her guidance counselor, Janice Higgins, she would not be graduating with her class this coming June"

"I am not only a faculty member, but a former graduate of the school and I can tell you that your child will for the most part be getting an outstanding education. Most of the teachers are reliable and well educated and the brass is superior. Our principal is extraordinary and well educated as is our superintendent. The elective program has grown exponentially due in part to semesterization. The IB program pushes kids to new heights and our athletics are very competitive. The facilities are old but the technology the school provides is amazing. Your children will be prepared for college!"

"I graduated from this High school and I have to say that it was the most unproductive four years of my life. I gained a somewhat substantial education from the music and english departments, however the Math and Science departments severely lacked and it seemed to me that the teachers appeared to know less than the students."

"Well I'm a student at this high school and I would say that it is a very good high school with a great academic program. The course offered are challenging and prepare the student well for a college career. There are many choices of classes available in both the AP and IB programs. The students in the IB program are challenged and driven to do their best! ( I would know since I am in the IB program). Even though the high school is great as a whole there are some areas in which it lacks. For example, the art department recently has been downsized and we have only one art room available. The after school buses come only two times a week which makes it hard for students and parents alike in the matter of transportation. Overall, the high school creates a welcoming enviroment for all students and teachers!"
