"My name is Kate and have been involved with Holy Family for almost 13 years. As an after school volunteer, I am priveledged to teach students from K-8. Principal Collins trusts me to develop my own cirriculum, "Art and Spriituality" as well as introducing the kids to music using Orff instruments and techniques. I work with talented kids, but often many are scared and believe they cannot do art. But inevitably, we all come to know that making art is for everyone. In fact students donate their creations at the Fall and Spring fund raising events. The silent auction of their work offers guests an opportunity to personally connect with students. Their completed artwork is beyond outstanding. The success of my program is not due to my abilities alone. It is through the well trained and committed staff, the passionate teachers and the high standards, coupled with love, the pour out from Cheryl Collins, Principal. Trust, service, abundance, compassion, and guidance are the hallmarks I witness and feel at Holy Family . I am privilaged to say that honestly, you will not find another school like this any where else in Chicago."
"I am a parent for the past 10 years my oldest son graduated in 07 and my other son will graduate in 09. The school is wonderful and the staff is caring. A safe learning enviroment."

"Although I am not a parent, I graduated from Holy Family in 2005. I went to Holy Family from 2nd-8th grade. I believe that Holy Family is well above average academically. I am now a junior at Walter Payton College Prep, and I have a 4.2 GPA, and Holy Family had a lot to do with my success on getting into Walter Payton and doing well my freshman year. Holy Family offers both music and art. They also have a basketball team(which I played on all 4 years), and although they do not have a gym, the program is good because not only does is teach you skills in basketball, but it teaches you life long lessons, such as sportsmanship, and team work, and bonding. The extracurricular activities are above average, taking trips such as Lake Geneva, various Cubs games, and 8th grade traveling to Washington D.C."
"Holy Family is a small school with a limited budget. With the resources that they have, they do an awesome job. My daughter graduated in June 2006 for Holy Family, she presently a freshman at Walter Lutheran with a GPA of 3.47. Holy Family was a major role in her success. They prepared her for high school. The middle school teachers, instructed the students to think, write, and function at high school level even thought they were in grammar school. Our extracurricular activities are limited but the quality of their academic program is not.Under the current principal's leadership, Holy Family scores on standardize tests have improved each year. The principal and the instructors perform miracles with what they little have. They never complain , they just get the job done. The dilemma is parental involvement is very low. If parents would get involve, the school would be successful. Mrs. Wallace"
"I am a new parent to Holy Family and I am greatly impressed by the academic program as well as the after school program. Although this school is small, it offers dance, choir, basketball, technology, and the chance for students to learn to become public speakers. My two sons cannot wait to go to school everyday. They once hated school now I can't keep them home! The religious program (weekly chapel) has given them a renewed sense of love for themselves and love for their peers. I hope to stay at this school until they graduate from eighth grade. Ms. Williams"
