"Kellman is one of the most under rated schools in Chicago. The school provides a very high quality education to their students despite lack of participation from some parents. Students who attend this school get the benefits of a private school atmosphere in a public school setting. Good behavior is pushed by all staff members, and students who leave Kellman school go the top high schools in Chicago. Kellman is a safe haven in the impoverished North Lawndale area."

"I used to be a student at Kellman and I was taught the best. Yes Kellman has changed but the love didn't. If i had a choice to be back in grammar school I would choose Kellman to go back to"

"Kellman has changed. I think all the teachers do their best to educate all the children, but often times the classrooms seem overcrowded. I think that the students seem like they have forgotten their manners, which directly affects how they view their education."

"Kellman School is not the same school that it used to be when I started working there. The curriculum used to be very, very rigorous and a lot more monitoring used to take place where today it is not monitored at all by administration. THe older veteran teachers seem to have that passion for the teaching and the students, whereas the newer teachers don't seem to have the inclination to really find the students needs. Hopefully, there will be some changes and Kellman will go back to its original state of being which oozed over with respect, integrity, and loyalty to learning!"

"As a parent of a child who attends Kellman and also an educator in the field of early childhood I love my child's school. Kellman has always allowed me to be comfortable in the school. Where most near-by schools do not allow parents to enter the school without them having an appointment."
