"I graduated in 2009 from this school. If you want a great education go with the honor and AP classes. The regular classes are to easy and will not prepare you for college, at all! The teachers are wonderful and so are the clubs. I personally recommend the Mayor Daley book club, Asian club, and environmental club. If you take higher level courses and get involved with the different clubs the school has to offer you will have a wonderful experience!"

"I'm currently a student it Lake View High School. It's one of the most amazing schools ever. I been to a lot of schools and this one is my favorite. Students are really friendly they will help you out. There is mostly no drama. :) The teachers are amazing. They actually know what to do. Not like others. The school has a dress code just to keep us more on track, and not to worry about what to wear. I'm just in love with that school it's just amazing. But now its becoming a magnet school, which means that it will be harder to get in. Well good luck. I hope you enjoy the school as much as I do."

"My brother went to this school and it is a shame that people look down upon this school because he said most of the teachers are extremely friendly and helpful, especially that A.P. Calculus teacher. I am currently an 8th grader hoping to get into a selective enrollment school but Lake View is definitely on my list. He said they are very well known for their sports and their music, it's true. I've also taken a field trip to Lake View and I must say that I'm very impressed with the clubs they have, I mean come on the French Club members all have shots to trips in France! How awesome is that? Their principal is very nice, he's a kind person from my experience of meeting him."

"Lake View is a great school where both the students and their parents have close relationships with their teachers. Each and everyone of the teachers care about where the student is headed and how they handle things in life. I am a student from Lake View and I know first hand that the teachers love what they do and give each and every student the tools they need to succeed in life."
