"I sent my daughter to Mother McCauley as a young motivated girl and she graduated (2013) as a responsible well educated young lady. I will be forever grateful for what Mother McCauley have done for my daughter. My daughter graduated from, St. Columbanus School and started 9th grade at Mother McCauley. While at M.M, she had the opportunityto travel abroad to Italy, took as many math and sciences courses as she like, participated in volleyball and swimming and had community service opportunities. The religous retreats really allowed the girls to bond outside the classrooms. My daughter now have life long friends from a diverse group of girls. As an African American young girl, she did not experience any negative treatment at M.M. The teachers were helpful and parent involvement was strong. My daughter is now a Freshmen at Purdue University on a full academic scholarship, majoring in Pharmacy. Mother McCauley is worth every penny, you will not regret the financial investment nor sending your daughter here."

"I am a recent grad of McAuley. Teachers were consistently offering to stay after school or show up early to help students. I felt that they were always approachable and truly cared about students. There are also math and science centers where students can go for extra help along with the general learning resource center. The National Honor Society also does a fabulous job offering tutoring in almost any subject. These students are frequently several levels above the student needed help and give them a different perspective on the subject. Students have a tutor who they meet with at least weekly and are always open for questions. It's a great program! I would say that Mother McAuley offered us a space to not only learn about ourselves, our world and our faith, but to also think critically and question. That is truly how your faith and knowledge grow. McAuley seems to be focusing on math/science more since I graduated. This school is very accepting, and I have met people who I believe will be lifelong friends. Overall, McAuley offers you just about every opportunity imaginable, it's up to you to take advantage of it. I'm running out of space so.. go to McAuley, you won't regret it!"

"When Jr. High came, it was time for me to take advantage of the shadow programs provided at the Catholic area high schools. I went to a Catholic grade school, so naturally wanting to go to a Catholic high school was already in my blood. I pretty much had an idea of where I wanted to go, but like any student I decided to try out McAuley's shadow program and see if I liked it. From the moment I walked in, I did not feel at home. I was rudely given directions by students, and some just didn't want to be bothered. Well that was strike one. Strike two was when I my hostess asked me if McAuley was my first choice, without bias I told her, "I'm looking everywhere." to which she and her friends replied that "School A was for snobs, and School B was for the 'easy' girls." I had enough, it was lunch and I already wanted to leave. Strike three was when she took me aside and pointed to me who the school 'LGBTQ's' were, later calling them losers. Let's just say the school was not for me. I urge you to check out the schools, but please do not tolerate anything rude someone says when they are supposed to be setting a good example for their school, and talking bad about other schools isn't"

"If your daughter needs any extra help with her courses, this probably is not the school for her. My daughter asked for help from her Algebra teacher, she was told to sign up for tutoring. The teachers do not make themselves available for any additional time; if you need help, your resources are tutoring from another HS student or the learning resource center, which is a joke. The center is suppose to be quiet and calm to help them focus; instead, the girls treat it like the lunchroom. I agree with the previous mother's review regarding sports, my daughter was never chosen, yet she played sports all during grammar school and in the park districts, she did join a sport where any girl can participate, she practiced everyday, never got to play...so disappointed, she will not be returning."

"I am currently an African American Senior at Mother McAuley until this Sunday when I graduate!!!!!!!!!!! 2012!!!! Lol, no but seriously. I love McAuley, I had such a grand experience there that I wouldn't trade for anything. The best times I had was on Kairos of course, I won't spill the beans about that because your daughters will experience it when they become Seniors at McAuley as well. Nevertheless, I would highly highly highly recommend Mother McAuley regardless of their high tuition costs because it is well worth the money and the time."
