    "We have two children at St. Matthias. It is a small, progressive school with a commitment to diversity, academic excellence, and a nurturing, family-centered environment. It is also in the process of becoming an IB school. Tuition is really reasonable. Every day when I drop my kids off, I know they are cared about, safe, and learning important skills for success in education and in life. Class sizes are small. Kids have Spanish twice a week, gym twice a week, and music and art once a week, along with plenty of recess and lunch time. My kids are thriving and their teachers work hard to make learning interesting and fun. The new principal, Adam Dufault (as of July 2012), is outstanding and brings great energy and a clear vision for the future. We love, love, love this school!"

    "St. Matthias is a growing school that has clear vision, great leadership, motivated teachers and involved parents. In the near future, St. Matthias will have a IB program at the school. The current principal, Adam Dufault, has numberous years of experience and the past principal is leading the IB program. The teachers are getting the continuing education they need from the specialized IB program. The families are help support the school and in each other with consistent communcation. If you have children from 2 years old to 8th grade, please consider this school. Adam Dufault or Sheila, assistant principal, are willing to give you a private tour upon your request.     "This is our first year at St. Matthias and we have 2 children here. We love this school. The principle and admission director are full of energy and constantly work on making the school better. We love individualized approach to kids needs, great parental involvement, technology and project based learning. All kids have Spanish classes, gym, computers, music, art and daily outdoor recess. Teachers are great, caring and very attentive. This is a great community school and strong academics. We highly recommend it"

    "My 3 kids love the school. My oldest, now in 4th grade has been there since kindergarten. It is a wonderful community school and I feel my kids are getting a very well rounded education. They have many community building events and have a top notch academic program."

    "This school has many good things to offer. They have laptops for every child in 6th grade to eigth grade. The teachers are very nice here and they really care about each and every student. Sometimes they can be strict though but mostly all of the time they are joking around and having fun while teaching us. Our teachers seem to really enjoy teaching us because if they didnt why would they stay here? But you have to fit in and make friends with the parents the parents run the school events and if you're not in the loop you'll find out after you child finds out :) St. Matthias also has a robotics team who won the regional competition and moved on to state. They met Amy freeze the weather lady from Fox chicago news on channel 32. The math is one grade level ahead too :)"
