"I am no longer happy with Chuckey School either. There is absolutely no communication and many of the 'rules' are completely off the wall. Many teachers, (not all) are not equipped to handle their chosen age groups and are more disrupting the learning process rather than being helpful and giving the kids confidence. Many kids feel that they can never do anything 'right' at this school and don't understand what they are doing wrong. I have been very frustrated over the last couple of years. On a good note, there are some highlights in Ms. Bowers and Mr. Shell. They are both in tune to their kids and make them feel comfortable."

"I am no longer happy with chuckey school. I feel the principal picks at certain kids if the parent doesn't have much involvement with the school. My child comes home from school crying and does not want to continue school everyday. I feel a school should treat their kids all the same, but this school doesn't. I would rather home school my children rather than send them back next year."

"I have been very impressed with the dedication and excellence that I have witnessed from both staff and students as a part of Chuckey Elementary. The teachers are encouraging and involved in their students, to the point of staying after school to assist in reading and math studies. Their family resource center provides aid for all families with needs, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Students are shown respect from thier teachers and therefore learn to respect themselves and others. I believe this is the greatest lesson both in school and in life."

"Chuckey Elementary is an outstanding school directed by Principal Taylor. Students are expected to conform to the school's knows' rules and they partake of these as a 'Team', thus learning such an important concept from the very beginning of their education. Miss Bowers (kindergarten) is an educator who strives to ensure that each of her students are not only ready to enter 1st grade, but are excited about the challenge that lies before them. Other teachers such as Miss McCleish, Miss Chandler and even Miss Pat in the P.E. area, challenge their students to excel in every endeavor presented before them. Chuckey's teachers are more than willing to meet with parents (up to an hour or more) in order to ensure that all involved are reaching toward the same goal, for each individual child. I must say that the President's new Policy concerning education should be examined for it's Pro's and Con's."

"Chuckey school is an excellent county school. I recommed this school to anyone. The teachers are professional and very educated. The kindergarten staff offers a great beginning to a child's success in the beginning years of his/her academic skills."
