"As a parent, my child is a grown teenager. Which the transfer had made an impact on him, because the older the child is the more it affects them. I believe the IB program should have a school of their own not together w/ Lecanto HS. It makes the school overcrowded & many of the students doesn't qualify because of that reason. I am sure if it wasn't over crowded it would have been a different story but it is. The drive to school from bus stop is 20 mins but the drive from my house to school is 15 mins & my zone, doesn't qualify meanwhile is closer than the 20 mins drive. He was going to sign up for IB but reading what's requires, you fail if wrong & that doesn't make sense,changed his mind instead. It is not teenager fault that the school is over crowded & can't continue school. IB programs needs to have their own building just for IB Students. Having health issue i can't continue to take my child to the bus stop just because of a zone & society decided to affect his behavior when is only 15 mins drive & wanted to continue like always & finish school. There IB programs needs to have their own just for IB students. My child loves the school but there are things not met."

"My daughter is in the Lecanto School of Art program and I'm very pleased during our first year here in Fl. This coming year, her teacher has a trip scheduled to Italy. We are so excited!"

"My child began this school year and has entered a brand new program to this county, the IB program. He is doing very well and has a team of dedicated teachers at his side. Cudos to all of the IB team who work so hard for the gifted."
