"We had a son attend this school for K and first grade. We pulled him out because of the poor educational quality and lack of leadership from the administration. We are so happy with his new school."

"Be aware that the Abington Heights School District very much encourages that children should begin Kindergarten closer to age 6 than not. The curriculum was revamped along the way to impose very rigid academics on Kindergarteners who only have 3 hours to cram all of the information in. Be ready to haggle with the teachers and the principal in order to get your child in the right academic path. The transition program is a JOKE! It's for children who are not 'socially' ready but 'academically' ready for first grade. Then, you can get into if you're lucky because it only holds 16 kids. There's always a waiting list after that. After school program? Think again. You would think with such a strong PTA and such wonderful funding from high tax dollars, that there would be more programs outside of school time."

"I feel that my daughter has learned so much even though they are on half day kindegarten. The teachers seem to rally care and I feel she is getting a great education."

"A beautiful school facility with great parent involvement and many opportunities for students. The school offers high quality music education, including the option of violin instruction in the fourth grade. Learning Support is also available for all students who need extra help. Nice athletic facilities and auditorium, too."
