"Parents, if you are considering this school, do yourself a favor and research your options. The school has recently had a significant teacher turnover, including the principal (which is the fourth principal within five years). Academics are marginal, bullying is prevalent and not all teachers are certified. The school claims high academics which is not supported by standardized test results. The Pastor has little compassion for problems brought to his attention."

"The curriculum at OLL is good. Unfortunately, that is where the praise ends. The atmosphere in the school is cold and despondent. When dropping off or picking up my children in car line, the majority of the teachers avoid eye contact with you at all cost and they appear to be miserable. Communication is sparse between the parents and teachers. If you are not part of the 'clique', you will be treated like an outsider by the teachers, parents and an arrogant member of the clergy that are part of the clique (unfortunately, a bit like high school). My one daughter claims that in the two years that she has been there the priest has not once spoken to her. He has never spoken to us either. We will not attend his church anymore. In turn, we will be looking at other schools for the fall. On a positive note, the principal and a couple of other teachers were excellent. But, they are leaving also. i think they we will be much happier. I know we will."

"They offer a good curriculum and some might say the tuition is high, but catholic school tuition it is probably the lowest of any private school in the area. I think they are trying to weed out some of the unfavorable teachers but I question how some can still remain. I think they should look into the bullying in this school more as it seems to be higher than it should. It seems like some grades get along really well and others have alot of drama and many issues. New leadership in the last few years is making attempts to improve. Their religious education is great. For us we felt it better to send my child somewhere else."

"My son has had a lovely PreK year at OLL. The PreK teachers are caring, the program is well planned, and he has done very well there (after hating preschool.) We have had a great year."
