    "I just finished my junior year at South Lake and I must say that this school is a joke. i've read that people on here have said that the teachers really do care and look out for you and blah blah blah. Personally, i have had no help from this school. For example, my sophomore year I stayed after school to get help from my math teacher. Well, my math teacher shows up to tutoring late with one of her favorite cheerleaders and as they part my teacher tells the student, "come to chick- fil-a today! I'll drive!", after the student agrees my teacher proceeds to tell me that she can't stay too late at tutoring today. Oh, I can only imagine why. I tell my guidance councelor this and I assume she enlightened administration. However, this teacher still works here today and doesn't seem any different. Unless you're involved in football, of whom sucks anyways, you really don't get looked out for. The football players or ROTC members are always getting out of trouble. There are a select few of teachers that I've loved, but that doesn't make the school good as a whole. You just have to get lucky enough to get those teachers. Needless to say, I'm going to a different school this year."

    "As a parent of a jr. at this school, I am so disappointed in the new administration, so many of us had high hopes things would get better . According to the kids that come to our house and some talk I hear as my son talks to his friends, nothing is being done about discipline or attendance. The school is worse than ever. I can only assume it is to make the school look better under this new administration. It is scary as soon, it will be out of control. High schools need TOUGH administrators who enforce all the rules, across the board."

    "I am a parent. This is my daughter's first year at this school.My daughter is a Freshman. The problem I find with this school is the office staff and some of the teachers. In order to get any in information I have to contact the assistant principal!!! I think the school needs to get things straight and pay more attention to the students and the parents. Alot of the classes that the students have the teachers are not trained to be teaching. Instead of the teachers always assuming the worst, they need to listen to there students and start to remember why they went into teaching in the first place. I find this school to be a huge dissapointment. I would lov to have another school to transfer her too. Good luck if you send your children there."

    "I'm a sophmore. I dont like this school. The kids are rude and the teaching methods are awful. I rather be home school or go the private school rather then this school"

    "I am a senior and have gone there since Sophmore Year. This school is awful. I have all my credits to graduate however I am not allowed to do a half day program even though I have no need for more classes than needed. Also, many teachers and faculty are very rude and do not care about a students needs over there own. I moved here from South Carolina and the schools academics were a shock. I could not believe that honor and regular class programs were all in one room. If I were a parent, I would not let my child attend this school."
