"Some nights were stressful; the piles of work, holding leadership positions, being an active member in several clubs, and participating in sports combined became overbearing. However, even with the nights where my sleep was minimal and my commute dragged on with the traffic, every moment was worth it. Beaumont does an excellent job teaching students about time management, being involved, caring for each other, and making the building your home. Beaumont is not a school to attend only for classes, but rather an environment to immerse yourself in. Whether dressing in all gold for a volleyball game and out cheering the large school we were competing against, stuffing our faces on Beaumont day (and everyday for that matter), or feeling rebellious for wearing the wrong color t-shirt under the polo, Beaumont was where I spent my time. This school was a home that nourished us to become more confident in our religion, leadership skills, academic insights, and allowed us to form an appreciation for the world and each other (yes, this does mimic the life, leadership and service motto that Beaumont prides itself on). Beaumont opened doors I never imagined possible and am still so thankful that I chose here for my four years"

"After having attended Beaumont, going to college was one of the easiest adjustments I could have made. While I saw other freshmen struggling with the new work load, I simply felt at ease with having learned these fundamentals in a class where the teachers cared. When I struggled, the teachers were always sitting in their rooms after school, during lunch or study hall willing to help you in any area necessary. These teachers were more than just experts in their fields of knowledge, they were dedicated to helping young girls become women who are sophisticated and eloquent, never fearing to voice a different opinion. Honestly, I would not be as successful as I am today without these teachers and the effective, yet intensive styles they used in the classroom."

"Some teachers, at Beaumont, teach subjects in which they do not have a degree in. This not only frustrates me, but also saddens me because how am I suppose to learn a certain aspect of a lesson if my teacher does not even know what he or she is even teaching? Then, if I were to have a question, the teacher would simply answer with, "I am not sure, but i will look into it," but never would. Also, other teachers would test students on topics that were not taught in class, or, would be tested on harder material than expected. This hurts my grade immensely because these classes are not honors or advance placement. Finally, some teachers do not know how to talk to their students during s tutoring session and seldom pay attention or help the student."

"There are certain teachers who have their hearts in the subject, but not the success of the student. Most of the teachers make time for their students because they consider or accomplishments to be their own as well. Some of the teachers though do not take as deep of an interest in the students or seem to be as invested in our success. There are only two faculty members that seem drastically underqualified for their jobs."

"This school treats their students like prisoners and restrict the students from many things that have nothing to do with the school. I believe that I go to school to receive an education, not to make a fashion statement. So when the administration restricts the students from wearing certain color socks or a tight apparel, such as leggings or yoga pants, they consider it "distracting." Who am I "distracting" if it is an all girl school? If the male teachers have a problem with what I am wearing, they should not be looking there. Also, I have tried numerous times to talk to the administration about problems I am having and they always talk down to me as if I will never be good enough. Finally, when the administration sees that the majority of a class is stressed or struggling, they suggest tips that they think will help us, but in the end , they actually do not. They say that if we stay up passed 12:00 AM, we should just forget about the project or paper and sleep. But how could I do that when these projects or papers are worth a quarter of my grade? When asked this question, they were stumbled and said, "Well your teacher may not be okay with you not finishing a project, but you still need sleep." Dumbfounded by this response, I realized they had no common sense."
