"Overall, it is hard for a nerd like me to make friends here because many kids are very social."

"The school is full of activities, especially for such a small school. In addition, I have witnesses them creating new teams and the like due to student demand. If you go to GA, learn about what's offered and actually do something with your time. If you're looking for something that isn't offered, there's a good number of teachers there who don't mind advising new clubs or teams. It's kind of like college in that you're going to have a much better experience if you look for things to do beyond just the schoolwork, be it sports, clubs, student government, speech and debate, mock trial, model UN, academic challenge, or whatever. The same goes for the academics, you can determine how rigorous your courseload will be."

"It really depends on the student. It's easy to get involved in activities, clubs, and also sports, as they are no-cut teams. The small class sizes are nice, the student body is tightly-knit and there are really no 'loners.' It's hard to not find friends. However, the religion requirement is dreadful in my opinion, as you have to take it all 4 years and most of the time students feel as if they could be putting their time to better use, in more important and useful classes. There is absolutely no diversity. The majority of students are white and come from upper class rich families, are sheltered, conservative, close-minded, and at times arrogant and snobby. You get used to it though."
