"As a retired teacher, I now volunteer at Friendship. The staff continues to be hardworking, insightful, and dedicated to bringing out the best in their students - academically, socially, and emotionally. It is a pleasure to see classrooms where students and teachers are enthusiastically engaged in different styles of learning. I've seen whole group, small group, and individual instruction being conducted. I've heard dynamic discussions, seen group projects being implemented, and witnessed all kinds of learning activities using computers, whiteboards, and Elmos, to name of few of the tools that are used on a daily basis. Friendship maintains a positive approach to learning and is a wonderful place for students."
