"South is a great school with great teachers...some teachers are young who connect with our me and my friends. I have been on the honor roll since 6th grade. I am now in 8th. South has a lot of sports just brought back. They also have a lot of clubs. Keep up the good work South Brandywine!!!"

"I feel South Brandywine Middle School was a great learning experience. While my two oldest sons went to North Brandywine, my two younger children went to South. South has more discipline and is steering the kids in the right direction. Keep it up South."

"I think South Brandywine gets a bad name.... My daughter is a 7th grader there... She's had no problems. She is on honor roll and I do have to speak to her teachers about boosting her to the next level... but they have always been very supportive. The teachers I have dealt with have been very nice, and seem committed to the kids. Mr. Harre, Mr. Pearson, Ms. Smith. +++ I think they do need more extracurricular activities, More computer oriented studies, more parent participation... A new school building would be wonderful... and is really needed."

"I have 2 children in SBMS and find it disorganized and that the teacher's are not very attentive to the children's needs. The school definitely needs a makeover as well."

"South Brandywine provides a solid educational foundation for high school. The teachers are dedicated and accessible, and the school promotes good learning habits. The music and sports programs are good and well attended. Outside of music and sports, there weren't a lot of extracurricular activities available. Also, there is no second language learning in middle school."
