"Hooray! End of a great year. Construction is done! 2 years in and looking forward to next year. The academics, performing arts and music programs here are astounding. We go to broadway plays that do not meet the caliber of some of these performances. The school is also great at making sure the students are involved with their community, offering many opportunities to volunteer for various programs. Love it here!"

"UHS consistently ranks among the best public high schools in PA and, after graduating, I can attest this is not in error. UHS has a number of aspects that help to gain its favor, including an outstanding staff of highly motivated teachers, a dedicated and intelligent student body, and overwhelming community support. The school is currently under construction that will forever enhance the landscape of the facility and broaden the scope of academic achievement. Like every school however, there are aspects needing improvement. The current US education system allows for some underperforming teachers to slow educational development in students and, in that regard, UHS is no exception. In addition, students are held to a standard of collegiate performance, which has its downfalls. Admission into top colleges is increasingly selective and any boast in GPA can make the difference between not only acceptance but also scholarship money. Once in college, it is apparent that a 4.0gpa in one school is not equal to a 4.0 at another. The level of difficultly at UHS makes getting into top colleges more challenging while simultaneously making college easier once a student arrives there."

"Here principal is only your pal if you tell her what she wants to hear. UHS has changed since Paula. It is obvious to the students that she harasses the strongest teachers because they do not fear her. She censors the newspaper, cancels traditions such as Battle with the Bands and has even proposed keeping lights on at full brightness during dances. And if you ever do try to talk to her she will not even ask your name but will go on and on talking about her daughters."

"Unionville really is an excellet school. However, it is true their main agenda is to get good state scores so as to keep their status as one of the best in the state. While not necessary a bad thing I could see were some people are getting at when they say they are not as concerned with class room learning. Its not that they don't care about it, it just isn't the main priority. While not technically the school's fault there is almost no racial diversity in the school. I spent my freshmen year at a poorly funded Catholic school and I think its fair to say the diffrence for me was amazing. Trust me the teachers here are much better than what I had experienced in my year at Catholic school. The school is located in a pretty good area and in general, the kids are well behaved (again my the kids at my old school were pretty much out of control and they were in a much stricter school.). They are many classes the students can take to challenge themselves and extra help for kids who need it. It without a doubt is a great school but it does have its faults like anyother high school does"

"I am a student going into my Senior Year at this school. I have been in the district' for my entire life K-12. And I can say that this High School has been going on a down hill since the beginning of my 9th Grade year. The school is more focused on State standings then classroom learning. There is now on going construction in the school that disrupts learning in may different ways. I dont want to have to ask the teacher 3 times what she/he said because of cranes, loud trucks, and fire alarms going off randomly, Yes I know this is temporary, but the school has done little to help with these issues, Also Where is all of the money going? Obviously not to the students who lack even updated books. If you have kids and are looking into this school, go to a private for at least 3 year."
