"I think El Dorado Middle School has, for the most part, very good administrators and teachers. As with any school, there are a few to avoid. My child had Mrs. Score for 6th grade core, and she was outstanding- she cares about her students and went the extra mile for my son. What I have seen at El Dorado (based on my experience in fundraising and extra-curricular activities) are not enough parents that take the time and make the effort to get involved. Too many of the kids that appear to be struggling have parents that, from an outsiders view, don't seem to care that their children are having difficulties. Very diverse student population- ethnically, economically, language, etc. That in itself has it's rewards and it's challenges."
