"While the community really pushes the students and has extremely high expectations making it a difficult time, I also think that this is part of why I have grown so much and learned so much. My success is partially a result of feeling the need to keep up with everyone else as well as being intellectually stimulated by the intelligent students that surround me. The high expectations from parents are in the best of intentions."

"None of our teachers are below average. The teachers are all really great. Some are just way above and beyond. They are extremely willing to take time outside of class and are very caring for their students. They are very qualified for their jobs and extremely knowledgable. I can't speak highly enough about the teachers that I have had in my high school career."

"Most of the teachers are great . But some *cough cough science department* are not so great. Honestly I don't understand how last year I had a teacher named mr Casey who was told he'd be let go in February but managed to stick around till the end of the year? Seriously why! I legitimately learned nothing from him. And it took a toll on my gpa and self esteem. And this year I'm taking physics but it's not so cool cuz I have no clue what's happening in that class. The other departments are pretty chill and make sure we can at least pass ( they do more than that) but the science department does not have its things together."

"The parents here are all tiger moms. Actually I'm not sure about that. It might be that the students are their own tiger moms. Regardless the parents have always payed more attention to the sports related events than non sports. Every parent attends at least one foot ball game but only the parents of art kids attend student art related events"

"The students are over worked every day. Most students are running on 3 hrs of sleep. Those who get more have grades that suffer for it"
