"Geibel was a great school but now a days seems to be getting ridiculous. There aren't many clubs or too many sports teams. Students also like to gossip and make drama, but on the plus side the drama is just pity and is forgotten quickly. The teachers are wonderful! They are always there to help you. Overall the students are nice and pretty mellow. I liked the small size, I made friends with people who traditionally would have never had spoken to me at a different school. Overall Geibel was a nice 4 years."

"I am a former student, with siblings, cousins, & friends still attending, & I have watched the school slowly go downhill over the last few years. Money & the budget are now seemingly the most important thing. Fundraising is mandatory, petty rules are taken more seriously than serious problems within the school, & the current principal is thought to be, even by parents, terrible at best. However, the current teachers are some of the best I've ever had & should not be held accountable for the nonsense taking place right now. The teachers ought to be commended for everything they have to deal with, both principal & students alike."

"I am a Geibel alum and it is not a great school. The teachers for the most part were top notch. With tuition going up every year the disparity between financial classes will increases and the once pleasant high school will turn into an academy for the rich."

"My 12 year old daughter is very happy. It is a small school and there is a security system in place. If you are thinking of sending your child there, ask about transportation as my child has to take the public school bus and transfer to the Geibel bus (we only live two miles from the school). On days that the public school isn't open your child will have no bus service."

"I am extremely pleased with the education my child has received from Geibel. The teachers constantly raise the bar for their students and they continually reach it. Geibel has a small-town atmosphere (everybody knows your child, and, believe it or not, the students do not lock their lockers - safety is not an issue). Your child is not a number. School rules are explicitly explained. If there is a discipline problem, it is swiftly dealt with. Sure my daughter complains how much homework they have and how hard it is, but what is school for. The school itself is extremely clean, the grounds impeccable. I would recommend Geibel to anyone who wants the best for their child. My daughter tells me she's happy she attend Geibel Catholic High School."
