    "Unfortunately, the state of Texas has made it nearly impossible for Texas students to excel at learning. Like most other schools in CISD the main focus at Reaves is the TAKS test. Students that are not meeting acceptable TAKS preparedness are kept in from recess in order to study harder. Which of course is ridiculous. Students need to be able to run off their excess energy and exercise so that their minds can refocus and recharge. Hopefully, now that the school has a new principal this ineffective and absurb practice will cease."
