"Every city in the nation should have an AI for girls! We had to move out of state but we still have fond memories of AI despite our brief stint and our attendance was few years back at the Lower School. As other enthusiastic posters have commented, it is indeed a very "special environment" for girls - and for the parents too! We loved dropping off our child and picking her up there as each entry into the doors presented warmth, nurture, and excitement each day! There's something special about the way school is run - this credits to the Administration, Admissions, and overall Leadership. Our child blossomed - this credits to the Faculty & Staff, even the After-Care Program is excellent. We, as parents, had fun too - this credits to the open-arms attitude of the parent community who was good at outreach and playdates! We didn't even live in the mainline but that didn't matter here. We felt like we were part of a very unique, special community - that which it is - the AI community."

"A superb school where your daughters will be amazed, challenged, encouraged & pushed to be their best. The teachers are passionate about their work. The school really cares about each and every girl, individually. I entered AIS 3 years ago and neither my daugher nor I knew a single person. We never considered ourselves the typical "main liners". Three years on.... as a parent, I am almost more involved than my schedule can handle. My daugher counts every girl in her grade as her friend. If you show up and make the smallest effort, you will be welcomed with open arms."

"AIS does a great job preparing their students for higher education. They do not, however, create a welcoming environment for families outside of the incredibly insular 'main line' society. Also, their sports programs do their students an injustice; AIS doesn't put any effort into thier athletics."

"Agnes Irwin is amazing! Simply the best all girls school in the Philadelphia Tri State area...encouraging and enpowering girls to become their full potential and blossom into promising young women. The sisterhood is unforgettable and invaluable! The warmth from faculty and staff is appreciated by students and parents...Simple a great place to learn and grow. A++ on my list!"

"Agnes Irwin students are bright, spirited, and confident. In nearly 10 years at Irwin's, I have found the quality, enthusiasm, and passion of students at Agnes Irwin second to none. They make it worth coming to work every day. Our environment is one that is accepting and inclusive of all students. We are a community, a team. We work together to provide students with a rigorous curriculum, yet understand that educating the whole student goes beyond the classroom, preparing students to enrich the world in which they live. I'm excited and thrilled to be a part of this outstanding school!"
