"The classes here are about 24 students. one teacher per class. bad bullying problems. I do not like this school. some teachers are wacky. barely learned anything. Don't send your kids to this school. Kids in 6th grade aren't ALLOWED to do sports."

"I have 1 child currently attending 8th grade at CMS. This is a wonderful school, with wonderful teachers and coaches and staff. My daughter has excelled tremendously here. She contines to score advanced on PSSA's and is an honor roll student; I attribute this to the wonderful opportunities she has been provided by the district in the form of teachers, curriculum, technology and staff. Above all, I am so impressed at the level of foresight this district has by introducing the importance of grades, attendence and class choices to the 8th grade students and how it will effect them concerning college and career. The impression this information has had on my daughter is beyond signficant. Friends with children in other states, in phenomenal school districts are amazed that this type of foresight and focus is being offered in our district to our 8th grade students."

"I must say I am surprised at just how little communication there is between parents and students. The online access is supposed to be the main source of communication but often is not updated for months at a time. I often have NO clue what is going on, until it is too late and the marking period is over. Teachers rarely if ever email me to let me know if something is wrong. I am calling the counselor constantly asking if there is anything more that I can do. I really wish I could pull my child out right this minute but have to wait as it is so late in the year. I notice others say they receive notes home and emails, I wish I could say the same. Sadly, not unless I email/call first. I feel this is a complete utter waste of a year for my son."

"Our daughter is a 7th grader at this school. She loves the activities and is involved in the arts and music here. She has excelled and thrived here. She has been on the honor role all throughout her attendance here, and this is due to the teachers paying attention to her. Teacher interaction with parents is very high, and the staff are very available to parents. We communicated via e-mail, phone, daily notes home, and in person. You see the teachers at extra-curricular activities and other events. The technology in the classrooms (computers, math tools, computerized boards, etc) is astoundingly high end and new. They have modern, up to date classes like 'Technical Ed, advanced computer classes, etc.) This school exceeds anything a private school could offer. The entire school district excels at not only test scores, but real-life education."

"Lots of great teachers, small classes and plenty of activities for the kids. They treat the kids with lots of respect, and are working very hard at standarizing rules and treatment (i.e., same consequences for an action no matter what class/ teacher)."
