"The school is an excellent place to learn but the conditions of the school need improvment."

"Moon area offers a large selection of classes on all levels. they have college in high school and AP classes as well as offering many industrial arts and technology classes. the teachers are very good and if you want to learn you will. the parent involvement is not that high because it is not needed. The sports programs are consistently among the best in the state. their are countless extracurricular activities available. this is a safe and good school with many students going to very good colleges."

"Mom gets to put down all the 'rumors' about mhs: 1.'The children can't read'-they are required by law to know how to read by 1st grade. 2.'The school board solution is to build a new school with all the old faculty still there'-you cannot replace an entire faculty! btw, the new school is planned to be the best in the state. 3.'The school does not comunicate with the parent and the curriculm is atrocious.'-The school immediately communicates with the parents if any problems arise. 4.'Moon teaches integrated math, it is difficult for the student and does not work.'-Integrated math is a series of books that work together. It works excellent. 5.'The curriculm needs to be updated'-it is updated every year 6.'How would you like to see a pepperoni roll with black pepperoni in it and cheese that's half rubber and half some sticky slimy stuff.'-It's called cheese and slightly burnt parents don't know about the school-ask a student"

"Ok, so the school had a few problems. 1.Mold-has been taken care of by an outside organization. 2.Spending all their money on an astroturf field-they had to due to a local university ripping up their grass one. It was uneconomical to do otherwise. 3.Classes are large, classrooms are small-this is being taken care of by a new scheduling system that fills all of the classrooms. 4.Taxes-can't live with them, can't live without em :p 5.Food-just got a new food service this year. Food is hard to make likeable for everyone.Btw-the pepperoni rolls are good 6.Getting class choices-freshman don't have a whole lot of choices due to their health classes and freshmen orientation classes. 7.Getting study halls-going into the school during the summer to fix scheduling problems always gets rid of this. 8.No windows-there are no windows because they didn't have airplane proof glass back in the day it was built. I put down all the other rumors at next post!"

"Moon school is not the school it used to be. It is a political maze. We have an astroturf football field and the children can't read. Nor are there teachers willing to tutor them. The school board solution is to build a new school with all the old faculty still there. The school board runs the school, the teachers and the students. School taxes continue to rise and educational quality continues to decrease."
