"I'm so irritated with this school! I don't feel like they have the kids best interest at heart at all. Every Tuesday they have 100 mile club and the kids have to run for about 45 minutes, today is very windy and they still made the kids go out there and do it! First thing in the morning they had 1st-3rd graders out there in the cold windy air. Backpacks were blowing everywhere and papers flying out of kids hands but does the school care? Nope, they were all in their warm offices and just had the noon supervisors go out and deal with it. Teachers were in meeting so they didn't have to deal with it either. I called the office to ask why they were still doing it because my child has allergies and asthma and her only response was that he could go sit in the office while they did 100 mile if I wanted him to. Ya, every kid wants to go sit in the office for an hour and be isolated from their friends. Even the kids without asthma or allergies shouldn't have had to suffer through that! They treat these kids like cattle and it's a horrible!!! Even as I type this I can hear the gusts of wind against the window and all the stuff blowing around outside. Shame on you Rosa Parks!"

"the teachers are great but I shouldn't have to feel obligated to buy an X-mas gift, birthday gift, end of year gift and then get SLAMMED WITH TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK! Teacher apprciation week is soo annoying, make parents fee OBLIGATED to buy gifts for 5 days then I FEEL OBLIGATED to pictch in as much as $20 bucks to buy b day gifts and x-mas gifts and end of year gifts. When they retire far earlier than I can, that is their GIFT FROM ME as a tax payer. Unions have BRAIN WASHED everyone to think teachers don't get paid well. Teachers even THINK THAT. I heard one of my kids teachers actually say that to the whole class once. I shouldn't EVER be asked to pay money to any teacher. I actually feel it's wrong. I feel taken advantage. I would have more respect if it was buy supplies for class or collect for a St. Judes. But to ask and collect !0 -20 bucks a student for a teacher severl times a school year is a bit much. Teacher appreciation week should be DAY. We act like they are doing us a favor when they are doing a job we pay them to do very well for about 7 months out of the year."

"I have to agree with the parent that said the office staff is rude, mostly one lady and I believe it's the same lady your talking about. I also think it's interesting that our school is so overloaded and the kids are being sent to other schools until there is room for them because there are so many kids here with transfers! How is that fair? They get to fill up the spaces and the kids who should have those spaces are shipped out to a different school. It's ridiculous! My son had to start at a different school last year and than they let him move here like 2 weeks later, it was so confusing for him! I guess the school/principal just doesn't care about what's fair, it doesn't affect them so why bother? But I bet if it was his kid being sent to a different school than the one he bought a house for thinking it would be his kids school, he wouldn't be too happy! Get the kids with tranfers out of there and tell THEM to come when there is room, not the kids that belong there! We're not alone in this, I know so many other parents that feel this way, it's topic of conversation quite often."

"first off I would like to just state how rude the office staff is!!!! Im sure they are tired of peopleccalling in upset about be overloaded but they give you the run around!! No answers until 5 days before the school starts and they dont forward your paperwork until the day before!! Now we got called to go back to Rosa Parks but were given no specific info. When I called the office I was told that they are very busy because an assembly just got out. Maybe I can call back? Um no....ill hold....I need an answer as to a track assignment. Then they transfwr me to some grouchy lady who answers the phone by saying "what track?" Thats what im calling you for! I said who is this? (Since she didnt introduce herself) then she repeated "what track" I told you lady im callibg you for a track assignment! She sounded like that grouchy monster lady on Monsters Inc. What a way to welcome a new student!!! Rude and unprofessional!!"

"Love the teachers in this school. They have done a wonderful job with my kids. I took away one star for the traffic around the school during pickup and drop off. There are hundreds of students being released from the school and middle school at the same time. Drivers don't help - some of the worst. No buses. No crossing guards. No police to curb dangerous drivers. The school district and city council are aware and yet no action has been taken. Guess that we will have to wait until a kid goes missing or gets hit by a car before the problem is taken seriously. Sad but true."
