"The scheduling and preparation for college at this school is very bad. Scheduling is very unorganized and students are pretty much thrown into the college application process without any guidance or even someone telling them to start it. Students are mostly independent in that no one tells them what to do or when to do it unless the students have bad behavior, and are a concern to the school. The kids who follow the rules and get good grades are lost in the hassle of trying to make the school look good by containing the bad behavior. Being a student in mainly honors classes and some level one classes, I can say that the work load is overwhelming yet somehow this school does not prepare anyone for college."

"I enjoy going to football and basketball games, the cheerleaders parents always make food for bake sales and stuff like that. I chose to not attend this school if I could do it all over because it did not, at all, prepare me for college. Overall, it wasn't terrible and I don't regret it, I just wish I had gotten more of an experience out of it."

"There is an overwhelming imbalance of power between the "popular" kids and the "others". Many people are concerned with fitting in just so they are not judged by these people and just so they may be included in class offices or activities. For example, during spirit week each class does their own class dance. This dance is run by the most popular kids in school and when the "others" try to partake, they are mostly given the background dancing, and the main parts are saved for those popular kids. The social hierarchy is a major problem at this school and social acceptance is an issue most kids are faced with. Each group of kids are distinctly separated and attempt to stick to these groups so they are not judged or shunned from other groups."

"I've had certain teachers positively change my view on a subject. One of my teachers senior year actually made me want to take sociology as a minor in college. Other teachers have driven me away from certain subjects because their lack of teaching skills."
