"I am a parent and have one child in the elementary. My husband and I are from Loranger and went to school there as well. If we ever have a problem the staff sees to it that it is corrected. My child, in my opinion gets what he needs to keep excelling to his potential. We wouldn't send our kids anywheres else."

"I am a very involved parent at Loranger Elementary School. I think the school does an excellent job with our students. I have lived in the Loranger area all of my life and I know for sure that there is a library at the Elementary School. It was closed for about 6 weeks for renovations at one time, but the librarian did go to the classes to meet with the children and brought a load of books for them to check out. The best thing about the school is that the principal is fair and shows no favortism towards anyone. All children are expected to behave, classroom disruptions are not allowed, and the children are safe. I have been so happy with the school, the administration, and the teachers."

"I beg to differ with the parent of a special needs child. I do, however, understand that their are children with different needs. In my case, I have a child in Early Intervention Special Education, and he has excelled in many aspects since being at Loranger Elementary. Coming from a Private Catholic School were he got Very, very little help, I praise the effort that the Special Education Teachers put forth, and most of the time they go above and beyond their duty. Thank God, for those SPECIAL Teachers that love what they do, and teach our Special Children."

"I was appaulled to hear that Loranger Elem. and Middle has no access to a library, due to lack of funds. If there are no libraries, how will the children learn to do research for different classes or learn to feed their imagination. Books that a library provides are very important to the rearing of a child and their minds. Even the pediatricians tell new mothers to read to the child to enhance the learning process. Parenting magazines tell parents to read to your children. How can we read to the children or let them read to us if they're not any books to read from. The library is too important to lose. Please bring back the books and the children's adventures they have when reading them."
