"Our experience here was so disappointing that we moved into a different district rather than send our children back. Student/teacher ratios are very high (28:1 in my oldest child's class during the 2005/2006 school year). Limited resources for special needs students (i.e. Occupational Therapy held in a hallway due to lack of space). Reading outside of assignments was not encouraged at all by either of my children's teachers. Some extracurricular activities were available (usually with a price tag attached). An earnest attempt by the administration was made to accomomdate a high level of parental involvement however the sheer number of families made these experiences seem more obligatory than appreciated."

"Two of my children attended Rowan. The oldest was there from 1st-4th grade. I always thought it was a very good school academically, but was very surprised when we moved to another state to find out how far behind he was. It was very disappointing."
