"I feel that Longfellow School has been an outstanding asset to my child's learning. Everything about it has been a positive experience, from the teachers to administrative staff it appears to be a very loving and caring family oriented school that strives to teach her to the best ability possible."

"Longfellow Elementary School is a treasure for the children in Marion who find themselves there during their first years in school. I'm so glad my child is able to go to Longfellow, a cozy place where children are known by name by staff, teachers, and principal. With only two classes per grade level, each grade has a wonderful team of exceptional teachers who individually and together create and provide innovative programs to meet students'individual needs while challenging their learning potential and gifts. As a parent volunteer at the school, the thing you notice is the positive atmosphere there. Students are happy to be at school. Staff are positive and friendly with the children. Teachers are smiling and excited about what their classes are learning. An excellent principal has created this atmosphere, and with her strong leadership, depth of knowledge of curriculum, and belief in teamwork lies the success of Longfellow."
