"I wish I could give Wooster five stars, but unfortunately, I cant. What makes Wooster great is its teachers, its philosophy, and its students. (most of them) What brakes it is its new administration. The administrations actions seem to all be directed toured recruiting new students. Unfortunately this comes at the expense of the current students. The main issue I see with the administration is that it refuses to except student input. Students have met with the deans on many occasions to discuss various topics, including the lack of action the school takes to embrace their ideas, and their has been little to no out come. Many issues (Including bullying) brought to the administration are dismissed or buried. Their has even been protests in the past two years, most of which have been ignored. Students, and even some teachers, are fighting for their voice to be heard but as of yet their has been no progress. It is also frustrating to watch Wooster pour its funds into luxuries for example 3D printers, and trips to different countries when they are so in need of money that they will let new students in as long as they are willing to pay all or most of the tuition. The out come of this is the warm Wooster community being mixed with students who don't care about others or the school. Its horrifying to see the rapid increase in bullying, and vandalism."

"In recent years I have witnessed the fall of Wooster. Although the school maintains an excellent curriculum thanks to the wonderful teachers, many other aspects of the institution have failed expectations due to the NEW administration. The administration's attempts to micro manage student relationships for the sake of school appearance has caused the warm community that Wooster boats about to become artificial. Although teachers are helpful and are open to student opinion, the school's authority's are EXTREMELY unhelpful in any situation that does not effect the economic standpoint of the school. The school will often make decisions against the wishes of the students for appearance purposes. Thanks to a lack of funds, the school takes in anyone who is willing to pay. This has greatly effected the school, as vandalism, poor grades, and bullying increase. The school then blames the student body, namely the seniors, for "Not setting good examples and maintaining the Wooster image." As I like to say, "You cant have your cake and eat it too." Its gotten to the point where some teachers have left the school because they don't like what it is becoming. To be more appealing to new students and their PARENTS the school is refining its self at the cost of its community. I fear for Wooster's sake that this new administration will be its end."

"Many teachers teach engaging lessons, and incorporate student opinions into class discussions."

"All the teachers I have had are great socially, but about 2 years ago almost if not half of the teachers were fired to make way for younger teachers which has definitely led to a downgrade in education."

"I have had much academic and athletic success at this school, but have had some difficulties with staff and overall school policies."
